Apple confirmed yesterday that it has a big streamed event taking place next Monday, October 18, and while all of the expectations are that we can expect a brand new round of MacBook Pros, a new report suggests that we can now also look forward to new AirPods, too.

The rumored AirPods refresh is something that we’ve been expecting to happen for a good few months now while some people have been suggesting that the product has been ready for launch for a good long time now.

Now, Weibo leaker PandaIsBald, claims that we can look forward to AirPods joining the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro announcements on Monday.

In terms of what we can expect from those AirPods, a refreshed look is set to be the big change with a more AirPods Pro-like aesthetic coming this time around. That doesn’t mean that we can expect to see new AirPods gain AirPods Pro levels of functionality, however.

Beyond AirPods, it’s likely the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro refreshes are now just around the corner. A revised Mac mini is also potentially in the cards for a Monday unveiling, but we won’t know for sure until the day finally rolls around.

Apple will be streaming the event online via its website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube. If you can’t watch along be sure to check Redmond Pie for all the hotness straight after!
