As was predicted, CEO of McGraw-Hill has confirmed in an interview to CNBC today that Apple is going to announce their Tablet on 27th and it will run on iPhone OS. Terry McGraw, who is the CEO of the famous publishing company further went on to confirm that they “have worked with Apple for quite a while” and that it will be based on the “iPhone operating system”.

According to the latest round of rumors from HotHardware, Apple Tablet may not be the only device which will be unveiled this Wednesday. Inside sources have told the site that AT&T is set to loose iPhone exclusivity on the very same day. Nothing however has been said or heard about which US carrier or carriers are going to carry the iPhone come this Wednesday.

Next Wednesday, Apple in its mega event will raise curtains and release its highly anticipated device dubbed as iTablet/iPad or iSlate. According to the sources at Apple Insider, the device will sport that familiar look and feel of the original iPhone which was released back in 2007. According to the latest round of rumors from TheStreet, Apple will be selling its upcoming iTablet/iSlate/iPad device on a subsidized plan through Verizon Wireless in US. This news comes after confirmed reports which states that Apple has chosen Qualcomm’s wireless chips in its Tablet – which ultimately means that the said device is headed to Verizon instead of their iPhone partner AT&T.

According to this report from Clayton Morris of Fox News, we’ll see Apple Tablet, the next-gen iPhone software dubbed as “iPhone 4”, and iLife 2010 next week at the special Apple event in San Francisco. The next-generation iPhone 4G however wont be the part of the event. Clayton, who talked to a source at Apple this morning confirms that the January 27th event will mainly focus around these three products.

Wow! I didn’t saw this coming from Apple!. According to the latest reports from Chinese Commercial Times, Apple is planning to launch 22-inches capacitive touchscreen iMac’s sometime this year. We all know that HP already has all-in-one TouchSmart PCs for a while now, with multitouch capable capacitive screens, and an OS like Windows 7 which fully supports those gestures.

These days, a lot of rumors surrounding Apple iTablet/iSlate like device are flying around in the air. Most of these rumors are centered around its name, features and launch date. And now according to a news story published by CNET, an analyst at AVI Securities has disclosed that the production of Apple’s upcoming Tablet device is in full swing. A research note also stated that the increase in requirement for “NAND” flash chips by Apple is probably due to the production requirements of this Tablet.
