iOS 27 Beta 2 Download Expected Release Date

Looking to get an idea about when the iOS 27 beta 2 download expected release date will be? Here’s what you need to know as an iPhone user.

When Apple announced the iOS 27 software update during the WWDC opening keynote on June 8, the company immediately released the first developer beta.

Here’s when we expect the second beta to be released, too. Apple is also expected to release the first public beta of iOS 27 in July, but we expect there to have been a couple more developer betas before that happens.

As for the second developer beta, we expect that Apple will release it to the developer community two weeks after it made the first beta available. That first beta was released on June 8, so assuming Apple sticks to its previous release timeframes, we expect beta 2 to be released to developers on or around June 22.

Apple normally releases new betas on or around a Monday, but it could happen at any point that week, depending on the company’s release schedule.

Apple has confirmed that it will release the iOS 27 update to the public this fall. We expect that to be around the first two weeks of September, based on previous years, just before the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max go on sale.

Apple is also rumored to be readying its first foldable iPhone, tipped to be called iPhone Ultra.
