Gurman: Apple’s Fall Events Are Set To Offer ‘Widest Array Of New Hardware Products’ Ever

Apple is set to announce what is being described as its ‘widest array of new hardware products’ ever this fall, according to a new report.

Writing in the weekly Power On newsletter, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman believes that Apple has a whole ton of product announcements to get through during the fall months including much more than the expected iPhone 14.

New notebook Macs, as well as a new Mac Pro, are rumored, while iPads, Apple Watches, and more are all likely to get some stage time during announcement season.

I’m told that Apple is readying the widest array of new hardware products in its history this fall. That makes sense: My back-of-the-envelope list includes four new iPhones, a low-end MacBook Pro, an updated iMac, the new Mac Pro, a revamped MacBook Air, an AirPods Pro upgrade, three Apple Watches, a low-end iPad and iPad Pros.

While we still have some time to go before any of this is announced, all of the products are those that have seen reports suggesting their existence before now. While some are a given — Apple Watches and iPhones, for example — the arrival of new Macs including a larger iMac could still see dates and release windows change. Apple might not know for sure when these products will be announced either, with worldwide chip shortages continuing to play havoc with deliveries.

What’s clear is that Apple will have plenty to talk about come the fall quarter and it’s already looking like we could be in for an expensive few months!
