Apple CEO Tim Cook Promises ‘More Exciting Things’ Are Coming This Year

Yesterday was Apple’s quarterly earnings call and during that call the company’s CEO Tim Cook gave us hope for some big announcements still to come before the end of this year. In fact, he said exactly that – “this year has a few more exciting things in store.”

Cook obviously didn’t go into any detail about what his company has in the works but we do have some expectations.

We’ve been told by leaker Jon Prosser that we should expect a new Apple special event to take place on November 17 which is likely what Cook was alluding to.

As for what that will bring, we’re still not 100% sure. We know that the first Macs powered by Apple silicon will come this year, while Apple has already told us to expect a new Mac with Intel inside, too. There’s no telling what any of these Macs will be, however.

Apple’s also still has AirTags to announce as well as the new AirPods Studio headphones. Whether either of those will be announced, we’ll have to wait and see. AirTags is more likely than AirPods Studio but this is Apple and as we know, anything could happen.

It’s possible we’ll hear more about what Apple has in store as we get closer to the big day so we’ll be keeping our ears to the ground for any new tidbits as November 17 edges nearer.
