Leaked Nexus 5 Press Renders Hit The Web [Photos]

Oliver Haslam·October 18, 2013
In this day and age, and with the internet so rampant with people eager for the latest news and gossip in the world of technology, new products leaking out of vendors and manufacturers is simply a way of life at this point. Even with that in mind though, it's notable just how many times the new Nexus 5 from Google has been caught on camera in both still photos and that 7-minute video that we brought you not long ago. If you can judge a phone's success on the amount of information that leaks about it before its official unveiling, then it would certainly seem that Google has a winner on its hands.

New Nexus 5 Photos Surface In Russia, Shows Off Front And Rear Of Device

Ben Reid·October 15, 2013
The LG-made Nexus 5 looks set to be the next big thing from Google, and rumors have been rife pertaining its specifics and release date. It's expected that the search giant will unveil the handset at some point this month alongside Android 4.4 KitKat, and new images out of Russia appear to throw a little more weight behind the claims. The shots show what is alleged to be the device connected via the USB / power socket, and as you'll see below, looks largely similar to the Korean company's recently announced G2 phablet.

The new versions of Android have been arriving thick and fast over the past year, and although Android 4.3 Jelly Bean is still only a couple of months old, Android 4.4 KitKat has already been confirmed by Google. Since it first came to light that Android 4.4 was incoming, the tech world has been diligent as ever in its search for details, and has just unearthed some screenshots of the upcoming release in action. As you'll spot below, those previously-visited UI tweaks are present for all to see, as well as larger home screen icons.

Aatif·October 11, 2013
The rumor mill never ceases to be more and more interesting now, does it? According to the latest on the grapevine, Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat - the latest version of Android - running on the Google branded Nexus 5, might make an appearance as soon as Oct. 15, 2013. That puts the launch of the new device and the new Android version merely days away, not even a full week! Exciting, isn’t it?

Paul Morris·October 1, 2013
If you're an Android fan who is eagerly awaiting the release of the next-generation Nexus smartphone, then prepare yourself to feel all warm and fuzzy inside. The latest image that we are seeing flying around the web could potentially be the clearest and best quality leak of the device that we have seen to date and pretty much shows us exactly what's in store for the Nexus 5 - at least aesthetically.

LG Nexus 5 Running Android 4.4 KitKat Found In A Bar. Unattended. [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·September 17, 2013
Whether it's going to be called the Nexus 5 or some other Nexus-related designation, at this point there is little doubt that LG is indeed going to be behind Google's next Nexus device. With Apple releasing its iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c in a few short days, the latest Nexus leak comes at just the right time for Google, with the more cynical amongst us wondering whether it's one of those leaks that isn't entirely accidental.

LG / Google Nexus 5 Photos Show Up At The FCC: Fully Assembled, Not For Sale [IMAGES]

Aatif·September 13, 2013
FCC is proving to be the Leaky Cauldron these days (Harry Potter fan, anyone?), with respect to shedding more light on upcoming devices, especially when it comes to something as big as the (possible) new Nexus 5 from LG. Just recently, the agency has published (perhaps unintentionally) a series of what appears to be the internal and external photos of the new Nexus 5 Android smartphone as a joint venture between Google & LG.

Nexus 5 Render Based On Recent Video Leak Makes Us Want One Right Now! [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·September 7, 2013
The hype surrounding the Google Nexus 5 is pretty immense right now, and after a recently-leaked images, Redit user Vovicon has upped a bunch of rather beautiful renderings. Maintaining a similar look to the Nexus 4 - a device manufactured by LG as the next one will be - it brings a slicker general aesthetic than its would-be predecessor, and although we'll need to wait for the device's official unveiling before we get too excited, the renderings are definitely worth checking out after the break.

Oliver Haslam·September 4, 2013
It's been a pretty big day for Google. It all kicked off when the Android maker announced via Google+ that the next version of Android would be called Android 4.4 KitKat. The first time that a brand name has been used for one of Google's famous sweet inspired version names, KitKat is more than just a title.

Nexus 5 With Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie Release Date Touted For October

Ben Reid·July 11, 2013
When it comes to Android smartphones, only the Samsung Galaxy S range can stake a claim to being more keenly sought than a new Nexus handset, and while talk of an LG-manufactured Nexus 5 has been rife for a good while now, a Korean site claims the device will arrive in October. Notably, the Nexus 5 will run on Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, and with a high-end spec list to match, could be a killer device to challenge the collaborative effort from Motorola and Google.
