Leaked iPhone 13 Pro Case Shows Huge Camera Bump Size Increase

Apple is generally expected to announce a new range of iPhones this September, with all devices likely to offer improved camera capabilities.

That looks to be manifesting itself in a significantly larger camera bump as well, with a newly leaked iPhone 13 Pro case showing just how much we should expect that camera bump to grow.

Shared to Twitter by DuanRui, the images apparently originated on Weibo and show an iPhone 12 Pro inside an iPhone 13 Pro case. The difference in the size of the iPhone 12 Pro’s camera bump and the space for the iPhone 13 Pro’s camera system is striking, suggesting we can expect some big changes when the new iPhones roll around later this year.

Previous rumors have already suggested that Apple’s new iPhones will gain sensor-shift image stabilization — something that was limited to the iPhone 12 Pro  Max last year. Improved ultrawide camera capabilities are also thought to be in the cards for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models as well.

All being well we expect iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max to be announced during some sort of event this coming September.

That will also be the last time a 5.4-inch iPhone will be released, with Apple said to be ditching the model for its 2022 iPhone lineup.
