You can now download Windows 11 Preview build 22000.51 ISO as part of Insider Preview program. Here are the details.

Microsoft’s first Windows 11 preview build has been made available for download with those who are Windows Insiders now able to download build 22000.51 if they’re feeling brave.

The new update includes all of the new features that were announced last week as well as a change over the leaked Windows 11 build that half of the internet seems to have gotten its hands on. This new build includes an updated File Explorer that replaces the ribbon with a command bar that should make everything easier to use for all.

According to The Verge, this preview has some of the biggest changes we’ve seen announced so far, including a fancy parallax effect for those who like to sit and look at their lock screen.

Most of the Windows 11 visual changes that Microsoft revealed last week will be available in this initial preview. The new Start menu with its centered launcher-like interface is part of this build, alongside rounded corners throughout the OS and improvements to the notification center, volume flyouts, and more. If your PC has an accelerometer, the Windows 11 lock screen will also include a parallax motion effect.

Those who want to take this new Windows 11 build for a spin can sign up to be part of the Windows Insider program before downloading the update via the Dev Channel. Be warned though, this is far from finished and you should probably make sure everything’s backed up before you do anything.
