Download iOS 15.1 Beta 1 IPSW Links And OTA Profile File For iPhone, iPad

Just 24 hours after making iOS 15 available to the public, Apple has now released iOS 15.1 beta 1 to developers, giving them their first look at what is likely to be the first big update to iOS 15.

The new update is available for download now via the OTA mechanism for those who already have the iOS 15 beta profile installed. There will also be an IPSW file made available via the developer portal, too.

While Apple hasn’t yet told anyone what the new update includes, there are a number of new features that were supposed to ship as part of iOS 15 but didn’t make the cut.

Apple’s SharePlay feature is one example, while the AirPods Find My feature was delayed only a few days ago, too. We’ll have to wait for developers to install this latest beta before we can find out what Apple has up its sleeve here.

Apple released iOS 15 to the public this past Monday following a long beta testing period that included versions for developers and those on the public beta program.

It isn’t yet clear whether Apple will also make these updates available to those who are part of the public beta program, either.
