Here’s how to download and install iOS 15.1 beta 1 OTA Configuration Profile file update without a registered UDID or developer account.

Apple might have only just gotten its iOS 15 update out and onto the devices of people around the world, but that isn’t going to stop it from moving on to the next update.

That update iOS iOS 15.1 and Apple has just made it available to developers for testing. But you don’t necessarily need to have a developer account to take this for a spin.

Follow the below steps instead and you should be good to go.

Step 1: Open this link on your iPhone.

Step 2: Tap the Download button to get the ball rolling.

Step 3: If asked “on which device would you like to install this profile?” select iPhone. This will only appear for people who have an Apple Watch paired at the time of installation.

Step 4: Select Install on the next screen. Your device will restart once the profile has been installed.

Step 5: Open the Settings app when your device restarts. Navigate to General > Software Update and you should find the “iOS 15” OTA update is now available.

Step 6: Tap Download and Install. Installation can take some time and you will see your device restart once more.
