Apple’s iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, And AirPods To Benefit From Longer Battery Life

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, and new AirPods are all set to benefit from improved battery life according to a new leak.

Leaker Max Weinbach has been sharing details of what we should expect when Apple announces everything next week, with the iPhone 13 mini set to benefit from an additional hour of battery life compared with the previous model.

At the other end of the range, the new iPhone 13 Pro Max is set to have up to 20% larger battery components than the outgoing iPhone 12 Pro Max.

In terms of the rumored 120Hz ProMotion screen technology, Weinbach claims that the screen will throttle down to 60Hz when Low Power Mode is enabled. That appears to be something that users cannot override, too.

Cameras are also set to get a performance bump, with the Ultra Wide lens receiving up to 40% more light than the previous models. A new Portrait mode is also coming to video recording, too.

Portrait “Cinematic” Video employs our previously leaked EIS system known as “Warp”. Cinematic Video will also attempt to keep a subject close to the center of the frame, while also ensuring that it does not come off as unnatural. Effects are applicable.

Over in the world of AirPods, Weinbach says to expect improved bass thanks to a design change, while the new battery case will support wireless charging and have a 20% larger battery inside.

Finally, we have Apple Watch Series 7 which Weinbach believes will have “its first real battery life improvement since the original Apple Watch.”

All of these products are expected to be announced during next week’s Apple event and it’s sure to be a big one! Roll on Tuesday morning!
