Apple Watch Series 7 Now Rumored For Mid-October Availability

Apple announced the Apple Watch Series 7 last month, but we’re still waiting for it to go on sale. The company said we could expect that to happen this fall, but now leaker, Jon Prosser, might have a more concrete window for us.

According to him, we should expect the Apple Watch Series 7 to go on sale in mid-October.

Citing people “familiar with the release,” Prosser says we’re only a matter of weeks away from the new Apple Watch going on sale. Pre-orders could be available as soon as next week.

According to multiple sources familiar with the release, we’re hearing that pre-orders could happen as early as next week, with shipping happening mid-October.

The new Apple Watch has suffered from manufacturing delays, something that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently said was dealt with.

The Apple Watch Series 7 itself is similar to the outgoing Apple Watch Series 6 but has a smaller bezel arrangement that sees displays increase to 41mm and 45mm. The new watch will benefit from special watch faces thanks to its increase in display size and flatter screen, too.

The new Apple Watch Series 7 will start at $399 for the 41mm model when pre-orders do go live, whether or not that happens to be next week as Prosser seems to think will be the case.
