Apple Promotes iPhone 12 Night Mode Selfies In New Ad

Apple has just released a new ad highlighting the prowess of the iPhone’s popular Night mode feature, with the iPhone 12 lineup leading the way.

Apple’s Night mode for iPhone photography has come a long way, even surpassing the likes of Huawei and Google which were famous for their night shots, but come iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, Apple’s camera is topping the charts.

Coming back to the ad, aptly titled “In the Dark”, we see a man taking selfies in an array of lighting situations, some, not so practical but this gives the video enough humor to vibe with; unless you really wanna take pictures of yourself in a cardboard box. No one’s judging you.

Night time photography of landscapes or cityscapes is something we all love, but we normally use the rear-facing or primary camera for that purpose. Here, in the ad however, Apple is promoting the use of selfies with nearly similar results as you would with a primary camera, a feature that is exclusive to the iPhone 12.

This is not the first time Apple has promoted the iPhones Night mode. Back with the launch of the iPhone 11, Apple released a video taglined ‘Photos that come out at night‘. If that didn’t impress you, perhaps a photographer capturing ‘40 Days of Darkness‘ in Murmansk with the iPhone 11 Pro would do the trick?
