Apple Makes Colorful HomePod mini Available, Launches Beats Fit Pro Earbuds

It’s been a musical day for Apple so far this Monday with two announcements taking many by surprise.

The least surprising announcement is that Apple’s newly refreshed HomePod mini is available for purchase now, while the surprise comes in the form of the new Beats Fit Pro earbuds.

The new Beats Fit Pro earbuds are priced at $200 and have the same features as Apple’s AirPods Pro, right down to active noise cancellation and support for Transparency mode. They come with some soft wingtips in the box however, giving them a fit and comfort leg-up over the aforementioned AirPods Pro.

The new earbuds feature IPX4 water and sweat resistance and battery life that should run for around seven hours. That grows to 30 hours when the included charging case is taken into consideration.

The inclusion of Apple’s H1 chip means instant pairing and device switching is included, but unlike AirPods Pro these things come in multiple colors — Black, White, Sage Gray, and Stone Purple.

Anyone wishing to buy themselves the new Fit Pro earbuds can place an order now with availability listed as November 5.

As for the the new HomePod mini, it is the same as the old one but with the addition of three new colors for people to choose from. New orange, yellow, and blue colors join the existing space gray and white versions — all five colors are available now across the United States.
