Analyst Reports All iPhone 14 Models Will Come With 120Hz ProMotion Displays, 6GB of RAM

Apple is expected to announce a new range of iPhones later this year with iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max all set to be announced this September.

Now, a new report claims that all four of those devices will feature 120Hz ProMotion displays as well as 6GB of RAM.

That report comes via MacRumors which cites a Jeff Pu research note for Haitong International Securities. That note believes that while only iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max offer ProMotion today, that will change come September.

In a research note with Haitong International Securities, obtained by MacRumors, Pu claimed that all iPhone 14 models will feature ProMotion displays, compared to only Pro models currently. ProMotion enables a variable refresh rate up to 120Hz for smoother appearing content when watching video, gaming, or scrolling.

It’s a similar story in terms of RAM, too. Apple is expected to increase the amount of RAM each device has to 6GB, whereas the two lower-end iPhone 13 models only have 4GB. It’s possible the extra RAM will be required for improved image handling related to the display as well as potential new camera features.

The same analyst also believes that Apple’s new high-end devices will come with 256GB of storage as standard, whereas the current models start at 128GB.
