Jailbreak iOS 15.2 On iPhone And iPad Status Update

Looking to jailbreak iOS 15.2 on your iPhone or iPad? Here’s the latest status update on what you need to know regarding iOS 15.2 jailbreak.

Now that Apple has released iOS 15.2 to the public there is one thing that all jailbreakers are going to be asking — should I update, or not.

That’s a big question, especially if you’re someone who might want to jailbreak your device at some point in the future. As has been the case with the last few updates, you’re good to go if you’re using an iPhone X or older and that isn’t going to change.

That’s because the checkra1n jailbreak is bootrom-based, meaning it can’t be patched in software. That, in turn, means that no iOS update is going to prevent an iPhone X or older from being jailbroken.

Things aren’t quite so rosy on newer devices, however. If you’re an iPhone 13 user for example, you’re out of luck and we’d suggest that you just update to the latest and greatest version of iOS to ensure you’re using the best and newest features around.

Things might change in the future, of course, and you never do know when a new jailbreak could be made available for even Apple’s latest iPhones. But it seems that most hacks are now being sold to companies rather than being turned into free jailbreaks, and that’s just not good news at all if you’re keen on jailbreaking your devices.
