List Of Motorola Devices Getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Oliver Haslam·October 3, 2015
Motorola has shared a list of its smartphones that will be getting the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. The list is fairly lengthy but that doesn't mean that everyone will be happy - there are a couple of notable exceptions, with some people set to be disappointed.

Alleged Photos Of 3rd-Gen Moto X 2015 Leaked

Paul Morris·July 23, 2015
Photos of Motorola's 3rd-generation Moto X 2015 have leaked into the wild. The hardware itself is not exactly spectacular to look at but it certainly isn't a mutant of a device, comes with a certain elegant aesthetic appeals and will undeniably appeal to certain Android fans who want to to step away from the usual big hitters in this market. It also comes complete with a cool front facing flash that should assist in solving the horrendous phenomenon of low-light selfies.

Cyber Monday Deal: Get $140 Off Unlocked Moto X 2014

Oliver Haslam·December 1, 2014
Motorola is running a Cyber Monday 2014 deal on its flagship smartphone of this year, the Moto X second-generation. Moto X is widely regarded as one of the best smartphones around, and while it was great at full price, it's about to become even better.

Moto X (2nd Gen.) Announced: Here Are The Complete Details [Video]

Aatif·September 5, 2014
When Google acquired Motorola Mobility a couple of years back, we expected a lot of good to come from the deal, especially for the consumers. Over the course of time, we saw some of those expectations turn to reality as well, in the form of the Moto X and Moto G smartphones - devices that offered high-end specs in relatively low costs, with a pleasant experience overall. Today, we have another offering from the Chicago based company with the name of Moto X (2nd Gen.). Nope, it’s not the old Moto X; it’s the new Moto X for which Motorola has essentially decided to keep the naming convention same (or take a leaf out of Apple’s and HTC’s books).

Motorola Sends Out Press Invites For Major Mobile Announcements, Here Are The Details

Ben Reid·August 15, 2014
Motorola has sent out invitations to a special press event to be held on September 4th, and along with the impressive-looking Moto 360 smartwatch, the formerly Google-owned company will take the wraps off two new smartphones and some kind of head-mounted gadget. It's quite an exciting prospect, particularly given that Samsung is likely to take the wraps off the Note 4 and, in all likelihood, another addition to its 'Gear' smartwatch line-up the day before on September 3rd. Unlike Samsung's event, which will head off IFA in Berlin, Germany, Motorola's big announcements will take place in Chicago, United States, and as well as more info regarding the beautiful Moto 360, the successor to the heavily-lauded Moto X should also be on the agenda.

Fully Unlocked Moto X Can Be Picked Up For Just $299, Here’s How!

Ben Reid·May 1, 2014
The deals are certainly rolling through for the ravenous tech community this week, and off the back of news that a refurbished MacBook Air could be snapped up for a mere $599, those on the hunt for a new smartphone may be interested in a one-day price-drop on the Moto X smartphone. Running Google's Android, it's been compared with the Nexus line-up in that it's both cheap and relatively high-end, and for a 24-hour period, the device is available off-contract for just $299.

How To Get Moto X Touchless Controls On Any Android Device

Oliver Haslam·October 4, 2013
When Google, sorry, Motorola announced the Moto X, the smartphone maker lauded its software enhancements almost as much as some of the people who got to play with it did. Active Notifications were perhaps top of the list of new software features that caught our attention, but the Moto X's touchless controls were probably a close second.

Motorola Joins The Bashing Club, Calls The iPhone 5c ‘Lazy Phone’ In New Moto X Ad [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·September 13, 2013
The world of advertising is most definitely a funny old place. Like most industries, the advertising world regularly jumps on top of certain market trends with the intention of promoting products using popular culture. Different companies have different methods of getting their message across, but when all else fails, it seems the troubling trend in tech world is to cobble together an advertisement that pokes fun at Apple and their products. Google owned Motorola Mobility seem to be the latest to adopt this method.
