Apple could be about to raise the price of its iPhone 17 lineup within days, according to a new report. The increase could come about as soon as Monday, August 10, and would set a precedent for a similar price hike for September’s iPhone 18 Pro launch.
This latest news comes from Weibo leaker Fixed Focus Digital, who says that rumors are now rife that iPhone 17 prices will be increased on August 10. It’s unclear just how much we can expect the price to increase, however, with the leaker refusing to get into specifics.

A price hike wouldn’t be all that surprising, given the fact we’ve already seen Apple bump the price of Macs, iPads, and other devices in recent weeks. Rumors of a price increase for the September release of the iPhone 18 Pro have been rife of late as well, and it would now appear that the current lineup isn’t safe.
The price increases are something that the technology and gaming industries have become accustomed to in recent months. An increase in the cost of RAM and storage have caused chaos with pricing of late, with the demands on component manufacturers made by AI companies causing shortages across the board.
Apple’s September releases are expected to include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Fold.
