Download: iOS 26.6 Final IPSW Links, OTA Update Along With iPadOS 26.6, macOS 26.6 And More Released

Apple has just released for download the iOS 26.6 Final IPSW file links and OTA update for compatible iPhones, as well as the iPadOS 26.6 and macOS 26.6 updates for iPads and Macs, respectively.

All of these new updates are now available for everyone to download, so you don’t need to be a developer or a member of the public beta program. These updates have already undergone weeks of beta testing, and bring with them some new features ahead of the big iOS 27 update that will debut this September.

Apple’s release notes don’t get into too much detail, but we do know that it paves the way for iOS 27’s new Siri AI functionality.

This update includes bug fixes, security updates and optimizes the Spotlight index to prepare for iOS 27.

Beta testers of iOS 27 have found that the indexing process can take a number of days, with the speed of the indexing increasing when the iPhone is connected to a charger.

It’s clear that Apple intends to get the indexing done on as many devices as possible ahead of the iOS 27 update.

Alongside this addition, iOS 26.6 also adds a new alert that will warn users when they have reached the maximum number of blocked contacts, as well as the groundwork for a new anti-theft feature that isn’t expected to ship fully until a later date.

You can get the aforementioned updates on your device by heading to Settings > General > Software Update section of the device and grabbing the OTA update from there.

Alternatively, for iOS 26.6, you can get the IPSW link for your device from below and update to it on your iPhone using iTunes on Windows or Finder on Mac.
