Alleged Photos Of Next-Generation iPhone Home Button Surfaces

Paul Paliath·April 24, 2012
Following a report earlier this month claiming that production has already began on the next-generation iPhone, a new rumor suggests that it will be receiving a slightly redesigned Home button. If you were anticipating a redesigned oval-shaped capacitive touch Home button, then prepare to be disappointed (again, bearing in mind just how often this rumor has been regurgitated time and time again). The new rumored home button seems to have little aesthetic difference from the existing home button on the 4S.

Replace The Native iOS Spotlight Screen With A Web Page Of Your Choice Using WebSpot

Paul Morris·April 22, 2012
I am pretty sure that most iOS users have found themselves in a situation where they are harmlessly scrolling through their Springboard home screens, looking at all of the beautiful installed applications, only to scroll one step too far and come across a fairly empty looking screen that doesn't appear to have any use. I am, of course referring to Apple's inclusion of Spotlight within iOS, and the fact that it seems to be something that not a great deal of users actually use for its intended purpose.

Voice Answer Is a Siri-Like App For All iOS Devices, Answers All Your Day-To-Day Questions Using Voice And Text

Ben Reid·April 22, 2012
As has been pointed out on a number of occasions, Siri, Apple's system-wide voice recognition software introduced with the iPhone 4S was, by no means, the first delve into such technology. Nevertheless, although there will always be skeptics, it cannot be denied that Apple has certainly brought the technology to the center of public interest, and predictably, there are a bunch of third-party apps purporting to offer similar services.

Replace The iOS Lock Screen Clock With Live Weather Updates Using Forecast

Paul Morris·April 21, 2012
For those jailbroken iOS users who may find the whole lock screen experience a little bit bland, boring and outdated, then the Forecast tweak might be something which would appeal to you. Users of Android devices certainly have the bragging rights when it comes to interactive and engaging lock screens, something that iOS users will be forgiven for being just a little bit envious.

The world is becoming a much smaller place thanks to the fact that we are all connected through the internet and the numerous mobile devices that we use on a daily basis. However, for those mobile users who travel on a regular basis, whether it be a business or personal trip, there can be no getting away from the fact that the barriers imposed through varying languages can cause a problem.

Launch+ For iOS Lets You Launch Apps, Perform Different Actions And More Directly From Notification Center

Oliver Haslam·April 21, 2012
Launch+, a new launcher app for the iPhone and iPad, brings the power of widgets to Apple's Notification Center, whether the iPhone maker wants it to or not. When Apple added Notification Center to iOS 5, we all thought that it signaled the beginning of the addition of widgets to iOS. Unfortunately, so far at least, Apple seems reluctant to open Notification Center up to third-party developers in a way that would facilitate the addition of widgets, especially in the traditional sense.

This Tweak For iPhone Lets You Download Ringtones Of Your Tagged Songs Directly From The Shazam App

Paul Morris·April 21, 2012
With music discovery and playback being so popular on Apple's iOS devices, it stands to reason that some of the most popular apps and services are centered around the music industry. One of the most popular, and certainly the one that has been around for quite some time is the Shazam music discovery app that allows users to tag and discover music by simply recording a small snippet of the tune and uploading it via the Shazam service.
