Grand Theft Auto 5 is almost here, and Rockstar Games, the developer-publisher of the popular franchise, is doing its level best to generate even more hype in anticipation of the September 17th launch than there already is. While naturally dismayed by the news that 40+ hours of the game’s famed music content leaked online last week, the company’s mission to feed Grand Theft Auto 5 fans plenty of teasers continues, and with several GTA 5 trailers of the title already having been released, including the GTA 5 online gameplay video, another official trailer of the lively Los Santos-based title has just been uploaded to YouTube.

Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto 5 is certainly one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the current generation of game consoles, and with time running out before the next round of consoles are released it’s unlikely we’ll see many more big releases hitting the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It’s not long until the latest GTA game arrives on the scene, and because of that Sony has been allowing PS3 owners to pre-download the title to their consoles, ready for playing on day one. It’s something Steam has done for years, and the aim is to try and avoid the download servers going into meltdown on release day, and it usually works.

Rockstar Games has been steadfast in its releasing of screenshots and teaser trailers for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5, and with just a couple of weeks left until the eagerly awaited retail date, the developer-publisher has come through with another bundle of snaps demonstrating some of the sumptuous scenery. Rockstar has already familiarized us with virtually every facet of the game including the characters, missions, weapons, vehicles, and even the GTA 5 online gameplay trailer, but these screenshots simply focus on the two main aspects of every GTA title: Crime and Leisure.

The days of playing a game for personal gratification are long lost in the modern era of gaming, for aside from flexing your thumbs against some of the world’s best in online multiplayer lobbies, one can also clock up the achievements offered by every title released to market. Now, given that Grand Theft Auto 5 is set to be one of the biggest releases of 2013, it stands to reason that hardcore fans might like to know exactly what kinds of achievements are on offer from Rockstar’s forthcoming blockbuster, and even though the game won’t be around for a month yet, Xbox360Achievements has come through with the juicy details. If you’re a fan of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto series, there’s a pretty strong chance you’re waiting on the release of GTA 5, which will hit the retail market in September. What you may not have considered amid the excitement and intermittent posting of GTA 5 screenshots by Rockstar, is that the title will require 8GB of your console’s hard drive space in order for the mandatory installation to take place. While this may not be a problem for those with plenty of leftover real estate, gamers in ownership of the 4GB or 8GB Xbox 360 will have to find or buy a USB stick to cope with the excess.

Whenever a landmark title emerges after a lengthy wait, those responsible for developing and publishing the game in question often extend their efforts for those die-hard fans whose lives have been on hold in the weeks, months and years prior to the release. Avid fans have had a bit of a turbulent experience all told, with a bunch of awe-inspiring teaser clips and images leading to the disappointment of GTA 5 release date getting a Spring-to-September push-back. Still, undeterred, GTA 5 evangelists only have a couple of months left before the game is released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and in advance of this, Rockstar Games has revealed some interesting details pertaining to the Special Edition and Collectors Edition packages.

Rockstar Games has just released three more trailers of its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5 title, once again offering fans of the series a firsthand look at some of the stunning and visuals and animations set to make the cut for the September release. Despite the initial spring GTA 5 release date being pushed back considerably, Rockstar has done its utmost to keep everybody just as interested, and as well as these new teaser clips, the developer/publisher is also running a casting competition for five lucky winners to be featured in the game itself!
