Rockstar Games Releases More GTA 5 Screenshots As Launch Looms Near

Rockstar Games has been steadfast in its releasing of screenshots and teaser trailers for its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 5, and with just a couple of weeks left until the eagerly awaited retail date, the developer-publisher has come through with another bundle of snaps demonstrating some of the sumptuous scenery. Rockstar has already familiarized us with virtually every facet of the game including the characters, missions, weapons, vehicles, and even the GTA 5 online gameplay trailer, but these screenshots simply focus on the two main aspects of every GTA title: Crime and Leisure.

Rockstar has invested its time heavily into ensuring that Grand Theft Auto 5 players can have some fun of the normal kind; you know, fun that doesn’t involve folk getting shot. Along with a plethora of other leisure activities, sailing will be an optional pastime, and by the looks of the screenshots, will be a whole bundle of fun.

If you’re a golfing fan, you’ll get the opportunity to make yourself a part of the Los Santos country club, where only the high-standing, bourgeois types spend their free time. While not the usual hunt of a gun-toting gangster, it represents a change of scenery nonetheless, and after so much time on the streets, it stands to reason that your character may want something different.

Should the country club prove not to be to your taste, you can protect your image by getting some ink done at one of many tattoo parlors. With so many customization options throughout the game – there’s even a barbershop for when you fancy a trim – GTA 5 looks one of the most immersing games of all time, and tattoo fans will no doubt make many trips to Ink Inc or Blazing Tattoo.

As far as leisure goes, there’s also a ‘Serenity & Wellness’ aspect, allowing you to seek a tranquil stage of body and mind with some Master Private Yoga from instructor Fabien LaRouche. Again, street credibility could be compromised, but by the sounds of it, after a session with Mr. LaRouche, taking on Los Santos will seem like child’s play.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will release simultaneously for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 17th. Mark your calendars so you don’t forget when to pick up the next big thing in gaming!
