Purple iPhone 14 Once Again Rumored Along With 30W Fast Charging

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 14 is now rumored to come in a new purple color for both the Pro and non-Pro versions, with the Pink and Sierra Blue colors being removed from the lineup.

Apple is expected to announce the new iPhone 14 lineup next month, alongside the release of iOS 16.

Now, leaker Jioriku has taken to Twitter to share some new details about the unannounced products. According to them, the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Max will come in Green, Purple, Blue, Black, White, and Red with Pink gone from the lineup.

Those buying an iPhone 14 Pro or iPhone 14 Pro Max can expect to have Green, Purple, Silver, Gold, and Graphite to choose from.

The same series of tweets also suggests that Apple will allow the new iPhones to charge at up to 30W for the first time, although a special charger will be required. The report does suggest that the iPhones will “drop down to 27-25W” after a short while, although that remains faster than the current iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro models.

Other tidbits include the news that the new MagSafe Battery Case will be larger and heavier than the previous model, while MagSafe’s magnets are thought to be stronger, too.

Apple is expected to announce four new iPhones, with a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro set to be joined by 6.7-inch iPhone Max and iPhone Pro Max models.
