Apple Reportedly Bringing Purple To All iPhone 14 Models And Adding A New Camera Flash Design

Apple is reportedly getting ready to add a purple color to all iPhone 14 models, including the Pro versions. The same report claims that Apple’s new devices will also feature a refreshed flash.

The report, via Apple Track which cites a now-deleted Weibo post, claims that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max will come in “graphite, gold, silver, and purple.”

That same report claims we can expect “black, white, blue, red, and purple” options on the standard iPhone 14 models.

In terms of a new flash, it appears that we can expect a design that will incorporate two circles similar to the current layout, but with a different arrangement.

The new flash is described as “a small circle in a big circle,” rather than the dual circle design we have seen in recent history.

The offering of a new purple iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max makes a lot of sense. Beyond the standard colors we’ve become accustomed to, Apple often adds a new one to the mix. We’ve had Midnight Green and Sierra Blue of late, while a fancy purple now looks likely for 2022. We can expect it to have a similarly marketable name, although that’s unknown at this time.

Apple is expected to announce an iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max later this year — likely to be in or around September time.
