Jailbreak iOS 15.4.1 On iPhone And iPad Status Update

Are you looking to jailbreak iOS 15.4.1 on your iPhone or iPad? Here’s the latest status update on what you need to know regarding iOS 15.4 jailbreak.

Apple has made iOS 15.4.1 and iPadOS 15.4.1 available for download which means plenty of people are probably wondering whether they should update, or not.

Apple says that these new releases are here to bring bug and security fixes which means they are probably well worth installing for most people. But what if you want to jailbreak?

If you’re using an iPhone X or older, jailbreaking is something you already don’t need to worry about. Thanks to the use of a bootrom exploit, Checkra1n is able to jailbreak those devices forever because there is nothing that Apple can do in software to prevent it. Having said that though, you will have to wait for new Checkra1n update as currently it doesn’t work for iOS 15.x devices although it shouldn’t be a problem updating Checkra1n for iPhone X or older devices running iOS 15.x.

Things aren’t quite so rosy if you’re using a newer device, however. Anyone using a modern device like the recent iPhone 13 lineup, is out of luck. There is no jailbreaking to be had for you which means you should probably just update to the latest version of iOS and enjoy what it has to offer. That isn’t to say that a jailbreak won’t arrive in the future, but there is little indication that one is in the works and that means you could be waiting a long time. With Apple fixing bugs and adding new features all the time, you’re losing out if you don’t install the latest versions of iOS and iPadOS.

If you’re really set on waiting for a jailbreak, however, staying clear of future updates is probably the way to go. Not that we’d recommend it.
