New Renders Show What Apple’s Mac Studio Could Look Like Alongside A New Display

Rumors began circulating yesterday that Apple has a new Mac Studio product ready to be announced. Now, a new report by YouTuber Luke Miani and Apple Track points to that happening as soon as tomorrow’s online event — and we’ve even been given some renders of what that product will look like.

The new report also gives us an idea of what the new Studio Display will look like — a 27-inch display that will reportedly be less costly than the $5000 Pro Display XDR. Little is known about that display other than its size, however.

In terms of that Mac Studio, it’s that the machine will be around four inches tall but have the same footprint of the current Mac mini, making for a small yet powerful machine. Recent reports by 9to5Mac suggested that the Mac Studio was being tested with an M1 Max and next-generation Apple silicon chip inside, although it isn’t clear which the product will ship with.

Expectations are now pretty strong that Apple will announce the new products as soon as tomorrow’s March 8 event, although it seems unlikely that both will be immediately available for purchase.

The same March 8 event is already expected to see the arrival of a refreshed iPhone SE and iPad Air, while there have been rumors of a new MacBook Air and MacBook Pro being announced, too.
