Gurman: Apple To Hold Multiple Events This Fall With New M1X MacBook Pros Available By November

Apple will hold multiple events before the end of the year, with one of those set to be the announcement of new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro notebooks. That’s according to a new report by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

In his weekly Power On newsletter, Gurman says that Apple will hold more than one event this fall with new iPhones, Apple Watches, AirPods, iPads, and those new Macs all set to be announced.

Of the new announcements, we expect to see.

  • iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
  • Apple Watch Series 7.
  • New iPad mini.
  • New AirPods.
  • 14-inch MacBook Pro.
  • 16-inch MacBook Pro.

Focusing on those new Macs, Gurman says we should expect them to arrive before the current 16-inch MacBook Pro is two years old. That should mean that the refresh will be with us before November.

I bought my MacBook Pro in 2019, and it’s still the latest model. I realized while writing this that the 16-inch MacBook Pro launched in November 2019 is Apple’s newest high-end MacBook Pro. Unfortunately, some hiccups have led to production delays for the revamped 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros with M1X chips. But they should still go on sale by the time the current MacBook Pro hits its two-year anniversary.

The new 16-inch MacBook Pro is expected to boast a powerful M1X processor, up to 64GB of RAM, and a new mini-LED display like the one that powers the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
