First iPhone 12 / 12 Pro MagSafe Cases Hand-On Videos Hit The Web

When Apple put its iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro up for pre-order yesterday it also made the new MagSafe Charger and MagSafe accessories available, too.

Some Apple Stores already have them in stock and Japanese site Macotakara has been able to share a video showing off some of the cases people will be putting their new iPhones into.

Of course, nobody has an iPhone to test these things with yet. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will start arriving next Friday, October 23. Until then though, we get to see what these cases are all about. Including their MagSafe magnetic rings.

Across two different YouTube videos Macotakara show us the iPhone 12 Pro Clear Case with MagSafe as well as the iPhone 12 Silicone Case with MagSafe. As suspected, the clear case gives us the best look yet at all of the magnetic magic that is going on.

We also now have confirmation that the new silicone cases completely cover the bottom of the iPhone, just leaving room for speaker holes and the Lightning port. Previously, the same cases were open at the bottom of iPhone.

We still haven’t seen anyone spend any time with the actual MagSafe Charger so that’s something we can look forward to. They, too, are available in some Apple Stores so it’s surely only a matter of time before one appears on YouTube.
