Tesla Could Be Changing How Its Parking Chimes Work

Tesla is already known for having some advanced features like the obvious self-driving capabilities as well as all of the cameras and sensors the cars have on board.

But there is one area where Tesla drivers think their cars lag behind the competition — parking.

According to some users, the chimes and on-screen imagery shown when parking a Tesla is lacking, especially when compared with other luxury cars in the market today. But it seems Tesla could be working on some improvements after CEO Elon Musk replied to someone on Twitter.

The original tweet came from a user who suggested new proximity chimes could be an improvement. That would see volume change depending on how close the car is to an obstacle as well as other things. A change in the actual chimes that are used was also suggested, too.

CEO Musk replied to the tweet, saying that he agreed with the idea. That could mean that Tesla is working on doing something similar to what was suggested in this tweet or, just as likely, Musk simply thought it was a good idea.
