How To Completely Replace S Voice With Google Now On Galaxy S III [Tutorial]

Awais Imran·September 14, 2012
S Voice for Galaxy S III may look and work a lot like Siri for iPhone 4S, but it has been shown in multiple tests that both voice-based services are, in most ways, inferior to Google Now that comes built-in with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Apple iPhone 5 Vs Samsung Galaxy S III – The Ultimate Comparison Of The Smartphone Kings

Ben Reid·September 13, 2012
So, the event has finally been and gone, and before I get started on comparing the two biggest smartphones on the market, it's pretty funny how such a long-winded spell of rumor and speculation can be put to rest in less than two hours, isn't it? If you've been anxious for Apple to come out and pay heed to all the leaks then I can most certainly empathize, and barely does the iPhone 5 get to rub its eyes for the first time than it is swiftly thrown in at the deep end with the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Awais Imran·September 6, 2012
If you thought that the 10 million units of the Galaxy S III that Samsung sold in two months was a result of pre-orders and a limited number of enthusiastic Android fans, thinks again! Sales of the Galaxy S III are still actually gaining momentum, with over 20 million units sold in almost 3 months. Details after the jump!

Galaxy S III Bests iPhone 4S Sales For The First Time In U.S. Ahead Of New iPhone Launch

Ben Reid·September 4, 2012
The battles between Apple and Samsung have taken up a large chunk of blog-space this year, but whilst the Cupertino company may have recently prevailed in the courtroom over its bitter rival, back in the mobile market, it appears the Korean company is making very good headway.

Samsung Adds Brown, Red, Black And Grey Color Variants To Galaxy S III

Paul Morris·August 28, 2012
The Apple versus Samsung trial in San Jose has been grabbing all of the media attention in recent weeks, but now that the verdict is in and the judgment has been made, we can claw our attention back to what really matters, which in my opinion is the fantastic devices that both companies manufacture. Apple are looking to re-energize the smartphone industry with the announcement and release of the sixth-generation iPhone in the coming weeks, but until then our attention sits firmly with the gorgeous and very popular Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone.

Coverage of the leakage of new iPhone / iPhone 5 parts is now a common topic here at Redmond Pie. Of course, until Apple officially announces it, we really can’t be sure about the parts, but some of these have been coming from authentic, reputed sources like 9to5Mac and, today MacRumors, so we have a strong feeling that they indeed the real thing.

3D Render Of Purported ‘iPhone 5’ vs. Samsung Galaxy S III [VIDEO]

Paul Morris·August 21, 2012
It happens every year whenever we get to the point in the iPhone release cycle where Apple is set to announce the next-generation version of the device. Every year, the new iPhone is introduced and it is claimed to be the "best iPhone yet" with a whole host of new features that make the all singing all dancing device which is little bit better than the competition. I'm willing to bet my mortgage that Tim Cook will once again take to the stage next month to introduce the new iPhone in the same way.

Black Galaxy S III 64GB Model Will Be Available This October

Ben Reid·August 17, 2012
There were plenty of question marks raised when Samsung first announced its eagerly-awaited Galaxy S III device, the most puzzling being the lack of a black version. Invariably, the black version of a smartphone is the standard, with colors like white and, as Samsung calls it, "pebble blue," being options for those looking for something a little edgier.

Install Android 4.1.1 On Galaxy S III GT-i9300 Via This Leaked ROM [How-To Tutorial]

Awais Imran·August 16, 2012
Just a day after it was reported that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean would be coming to Galaxy S III by the end of the month, a completely legit leaked build has been released by the folks over at SamMobile who were, if you remember, responsible for the numerous Ice Cream Sandwich leaks back in the days of the Galaxy S II. For those of you who are willing to risk the safety of their device for the sake of trying out new features, we’ve prepared a guide for flashing the ROM after the jump.
