We are getting closer and closer to the release of the next major version of Android, folks. Google updated their official Android Developers blog today with a guide on how to make Honeycomb apps compatible with Ice Cream Sandwich so said apps work properly on tablets and smartphones.

iPhone 4 Is The Slimmest Smartphone, Not The Samsung Galaxy S II: UK Advertising Standards Authority
According to a report published today, an advertisement authority in the UK has ruled that it is Apple’s iPhone 4 which can claim the title of the “world’s slimmest smartphone” and not Samsung’s Galaxy S II.
Android enthusiasts will know that the camera on Samsung’s Galaxy S II superphone is widely considered to have the best optics in the smartphone market today. Its image and video quality is, perhaps, second only to the mighty 12 megapixel sensor on the Nokia N8 (which is the only good thing about the Nokia’s Symbian-based phone).
Facebook has updated their official app for Android today. The updated app brings much-needed features like being able to control privacy settings while posting, tag friends and places in posts and improvements like a refined UI and better-working Messages and notifications.
For those unfamiliar, CyanogenMod is an aftermarket custom firmware for Android which allows for many of the features not available in the actual firmware releases. These features include FLAC playback, theming, and incognito (or private) browsing.
