With both Google and Apple finding great success with their respective online entertainment stores, Samsung has decided the time is right to come through with its very own, very similar offering. The iTunes App Store and more recently, Google Play, currently dominate the market, but if sources in Korea are to be believed, the nation’s largest electronics manufacturer is planning a new “Tizen” ecosystem. What’s more, the company has just launched a supplementary content portal, and wants the top 100 iPhone and Android games ready and available on it by June.
A short while ago, we learned that Microsoft's annual BUILD developer conference would be held this year on June 26th, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Further to that report, TheVerge has learned that the Redmond company will use the event as a platform to release a Public Preview of the next release of Windows, codenamed Windows Blue. Citing “sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans", the report also adds that work on the preview version is already underway, and will be available to download in much the same way the Windows 8 Developer, Consumer, and Release Previews were dropped at numerous intervals last year.

The talk of Apple releasing its own television set never seems to cease, and according to a report from the famously hit-and-miss Digitimes, the Cupertino may be plotting an Ultra High-Definition, 4K resolution effort. The report has cited unidentified supply chain sources in stating that Apple is planning a TV set boasting a resolution of 3840 x 2160 - a mighty step-up from the current, 1080p HD displays in the majority of households. It will be the company's first connected TV set, and the Digitimes report also goes on to suggest that voice and motion control will be supported.

Beginning on April 12th, Apple Retail Stores will be selling a slightly-modified A1428 model of its flagship iPhone 5, featuring support for AWS bands. According to Engadget, facilitating Advanced Wireless Services is something requiring slightly re-jigged hardware and thus, those wielding the older model of iPhone 5 cannot enjoy the benefits by means of a software update.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 may not have been released yet, but already, the thriving modding community has begun extracting it of all its exclusives and treasures, including its beautiful array of HD wallpapers. The Korean company has, naturally, updated and improved its native personal assistant S Voice for the upcoming flagship, and already, a system dump leaked into the wild has given the opportunity for those on preexisting devices to try it out. The app has already been tested by SamMobile on the Galaxy Note II, Galaxy S III and the Nexus 4, and is said to work "flawlessly" on each.
