Here we are again, with just a few hours into the run-up to the October 16th Apple event. Apple has chosen to go with a slightly low key venue this time around, holding the event at the Apple Campus in Cupertino, California. Earlier the fruit company's glitzy iPhone 6/6 Plus event in September, was held at the Flint Center that could seat 2,405 people, and was concluded with a performance by U2.

Samsung Sets Record Breaking 7.5Gbps Speed On 5G Network [Video]

Zayed Rehman·October 16, 2014
With plenty of technologically developed countries still afar from a decent 3G network coverage, and 4G LTE in no real sight, Samsung is busy planning for the future. It was almost a year ago when Samsung was reportedly working on testing the 5G mobile network technology with 1Gbps download speed, but since then, has achieved a seven-fold increase in speed. I will save the word "whopping" for the latest 7.5Gbps download speed that Samsung has just achieved in its test environment. This puts 5G at over 30 times faster than 4G LTE!

The Highest Paid NFL Player Thinks Surface Pro 2 Looks Like A ‘Knockoff iPad’

Zayed Rehman·October 15, 2014
We’re pretty sure at this point that we won't be seeing Jay Cutler - the Chicago Bears’ quarterback - anytime soon in a Microsoft TV ad. The highest paid player in NFL right now, commenting on the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, chose the words "knockoff iPads" to describe his impressions of the device. Paul Morris·October 15, 2014

The invitation headline of "It's been way too long" doesn't really give much away, but needless to say that hasn't stopped even the deepest, darkest corners of the Internet from chipping in with its two cents worth. As we try to separate the "potentials" from the "no ways" we once again take guidance from KGI Securities’ analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has a proven track record of predicting what lies ahead and believes that tomorrow's event could be heavily iMac centric.
