Latest iPhone 14 Pro Renders Show The Pill And Hole Punch Design To Be The Only Major Design Change

Apple is set to announce its new round of iPhone updates later this year with the iPhone 14 lineup coming in or around September.

We’ve been hearing various things about what that should bring to the table, but it’s looking increasingly likely the most notable change is the removal of the notch. Now, a new set of renders shows that to very much be the case.

According to renders shared by YouTube channel Front Page Tech, the new iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will look very familiar indeed bar one big change. The notch is indeed going to be ditched on these models, while a new pill and hole-punch design will be taking its place.

These new renders show that new design in full effect, but don’t expect much else to change here – the rear camera bump is set to grow, but beyond that the design will be the same as the outgoing iPhone 13 models. In term of the standard iPhone 14 releases, they will retain the telltale notch, too.

Essentially, all of this is essentially what we’ve come to expect given previous leaks. That includes a new 48-megapixel rear camera that will continue to create 12-megapixel photos thanks to the use of pixel binning. That should allow for higher quality images without huge file sizes, while low-light images should also benefit from the additional sensor real estate.

All of this will likely be leaked in more detail over the coming months, but September isn’t all that far away – not long to wait now! Until then, check out these images and the embedded video to see what to expect.
