Download: iOS 15.5 Final IPSW Links, OTA Files Along With iPadOS 15.5 Released

You can now download iOS 15.5 final IPSW files along with those of iPadOS 15.5. Here are the details on the releases and where you can get those files.

Apple has now made iOS 15.5 and iPadOS 15.5 available for the world to download after a fairly lengthy beta process. The updates are all available both over-the-air and as standalone ISPW files — which you prefer is up to you, of course.

As for what’s new in these releases, here’s what Apple has to say in its release notes:

iOS 15.5 includes the following improvements and bug fixes:

  • Wallet now enables Apple Cash customers to send and request money from their Apple Cash card
  • Apple Podcasts includes a new setting to limit episodes stored on your iPhone and automatically delete older ones
  • Fixes an issue where home automations, triggered by people arriving or leaving, may fail

Those who want to download the update over the air can do that right now — just head into the Settings app and begin the download process by tapping on General and then Software Update. Everyone else can download the manual ISPW files using the links below. Make sure to select the one that matches your device.
