iPhone 14 Front Panels Leak: Taller Displays On Pro Models Along With Pill+Hole Punch Design, More

Apple is now widely expected to announce a new range of iPhone 14 models later this year and now we might have been given a great look at what their screens will look like.

A new leak appears to show the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max displays after they were leaked on Weibo.

The image, which was shared by content creator Saran Byte, shows that the new Pro models do indeed have the rumored hole + pill design that will replace the current notch.

However, the screens also appear to confirm something 9to5Mac previously suggested — the Pro models will be taller than previous models. The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will have a 20:9 ratio rather than the 19.5:9 ratio of previous models.

If everything goes as we expect it to, Apple will announce the new four-device lineup in or around September with Pro and non-Pro models available in 6.1 and 6.7-inch configurations. There will be no 5.7-inch mini version this year after reportedly disappointing sales of the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini.

The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will ditch the notch and gain new 48-megapixel cameras, according to reports. Those two differences, plus a new A16 Bionic are thought to be the likely differentiators between Pro and non-Pro models this year.
