Take A Full Virtual Tour Of The Luxurious Emirates A380 Using Google Street View

Ben Reid·August 6, 2013
Flying on Emirates Airlines, compared with most other aviation companies, is a pretty expensive gig, to say the least. Indeed, if you fancy flying on an Emirates A380, you could be looking at a ticket price of for up to $20,000 for First Class, and naturally, not everybody has that kind of cash just to throw around. Still, if you've wondered what it's like to mosey on through one of these monstrous planes, Google Street View has you covered, for now you can get up close and personal with the 610,000 lb beast and take a tour of the entire plane, including First, Business and Economy Class, as if it were a long luxurious road.

Official Google AdSense For iPhone App Now Available To Download

Ben Reid·August 6, 2013
No service is really complete until it receives its very own iPhone app, and that's exactly what Google has (belatedly) done with AdSense. Having recently dropped the corresponding app for its own, Android mobile OS, the Big G has finally seen it as high time that iOS was given a similar offering, so now those in ownership of an iPhone, iPad and iPod touch can check their AdSense goings-on while on-the-fly.

How To Force Android 4.3 OTA Download For Galaxy S4 And HTC One Google Play Edition Devices Right Now!

Ben Reid·August 4, 2013
There are many advantages to owning a smartphone running stock Android, one of which is that, when a new version of Google's software arrives, you don't have to wait forever for the OTA to hit your device. Such is the case with the Google Play Edition Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One, which will both begin to see the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update as of today.

Official Android Device Manager Tool Will Let You Locate, Ring And Wipe Your Device

Ben Reid·August 3, 2013
Finding a misplaced smartphone can often be a losing battle, but with technology being what it is in this Digital Age, there are all manner of tools available out there to help you track it down. Most of these apps offer some sort of alarm, vibration, tracking system, and even security features like screenshotting the faces of those typing failed password entries or remote wipe. Yet while Apple has offered this feature to its customers for a long time now with Find My iPhone, the same cannot be said of Android - until now.

Google's purchase of Motorola Mobility has yet to bear any fruit, leaving many an analyst and commentator to question the value in the $12.5 billion acquisition last year. But the Moto X smartphone, which has long since been rumored as a mid-range device with wider appeal, has finally been revealed. With plenty of surprises, the Moto X smartphone is much more than just another run-of-the-mill handset, and we've got all the details after the jump.

Google Glass Explorers Can Now Invite A Friend, Who Wants In?

Ben Reid·August 1, 2013
Not many tech releases can claim to have created more of a fuss and anticipation than both the next generation gaming consoles, but the hype surrounding Google Glass is certainly giving the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 a run for their money. At present, only certain individuals have managed to get their hands on a unit of the wearable tech for testing and development of the Android-based ecosystem, but it would seem Google is now offering some of those testers a chance to invite a friend to the process, provided they're willing to pick their very own pair from selected distribution outlets.

Google Chromecast Root Released, Opening Up All Kinds Of Possibilities [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·July 29, 2013
When Google announced its new Chromecast streaming dongle, the response amongst the technology world was split into two camps. Some shrugged their shoulders and said that it did nothing that Apple's Apple TV and AirPlay didn't already do. Others lauded the possibilities created by Google's cross-platform approach to something that had previously been an Apple-only affair. We sat somewhere in the middle of those two options, but now we're getting more excited, and with good reason.

Ben Reid·July 27, 2013
iFixit has built a reputation on dissecting some of the latest and greatest gadgets to hit the technology scene, and with Google having only announced the Chromecast streaming peripheral a couple of days back, the repairs company has been up to its usual tricks once more. Although iFixit has fried many a fish bigger than the USB dongle-sized device, we're still excited to see what Google has managed to squeeze within. Take a look for yourself after the break!

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Source Code Suggests 4K Support For Future Devices

Ben Reid·July 26, 2013
The market for 4K Ultra HD displays has yet to really take off thanks to the lack of supporting content, high prices, and general newness of the technology. Yet with both the forthcoming Xbox One from Microsoft and PlayStation 4 from Sony both offering varying degrees of 4K support, it would appear other platforms are now following suit. The source code of the just-released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean seems to indicate support for Ultra HD, and although this doesn't necessarily signal a flurry of 4K Android devices, it is clear that Google is thinking ahead to the future.
