Check Out This Amazing iPhone 6 And iPhone mini Concept With A True Edge-to-Edge Display [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·May 12, 2013
Concept videos are a dime a dozen at the best of times, but when everyone knows that a new iPhone is just a few short months away, things tend to heat up. Everyone with a passing interest in design and Apple seems to want to throw together a concept video or produce some renders that show what the next handset may or may not look like. We see them, and we move on.

Paul Morris·May 11, 2013
This iOS 7 concept goes skeuomorphism free, introduces flat UI, partially inspired by Windows Phone's Modern interface.Check out the full video embedded at the end of the article.

iPhone 5 Camera Image Quality Compared To All Previous iPhone Models [IMAGES]

Ben Reid·May 10, 2013
The camera of the iPhone has seen many improvements over the past few generations, and with the device regularly taking the coveted position as the most-used snapper on image enthusiast site Flickr, it's no wonder many have previously dubbed it the world's favorite camera. Things have certainly come a long way since the very first iPhone in terms of functionality, image quality and detail, and to offer some perspective on just how much the shooter of the iconic smartphone has advanced in six years and through six generations, Lisa Bettany has pieced together a very interesting comparison.

New iOS 7 Concept Is Both Clean And Functional With A Very Intuitive UI [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·May 10, 2013
We've seen quite a few iOS 7 concepts during the past couple of months, and given that the general consensus seems to be one of Apple's mobile being real need of some rejuvenation, this should perhaps come as no surprise. We have been steadfast in its tracking of these concepts, and today, we have come across a modest, but perhaps realistic concept design based on what Apple will have been able to achieve by the time WWDC 2013 comes around.

Plastic-Backed Galaxy S4 More Costly To Build Than iPhone 5

Ben Reid·May 10, 2013
As has been well-documented since the announcement of the Galaxy S4, yes - it is made from plastic; that's been established, that's a given. But while the plastic exterior may place it below the likes of the iPhone 5 and HTC One in the minds of those looking for a handset of superior build quality, it doesn't necessarily make the Galaxy S4 cheaper to build. In fact, while many have accused Samsung of "scrimping" on the outer shell, the Korean company actually spends more per handset than Apple does with the iPhone 5 - a testament once again to just how much high-spec hardware is packed into the latest and greatest Galaxy S revision.

MacBook Air Goes $125 Cheaper This Mother’s Day, Here Are The Details

Ben Reid·May 9, 2013
Seeking to find brand new Apple products at a cut-price is a very difficult game to be involved in, but in a rare glimmer of hope for those trying to save a little of that hard-earned cash, Best Buy is running a series of deals on the MacBook Air as a Mother's Day special. Some specifications of the ultra-slender notebook have been dropped by as much as $100, and with a further $25 saved by entering the code MOM25, you might even be able to treat your mom (or yourself..) to a shiny new MacBook Air this Mother's Day.

Meet The Guy Who Photographs Apple Products Officially And Makes Them Look Magical [VIDEO]

Oliver Haslam·May 9, 2013
Apple's products are sometimes said to sell themselves, but sometimes they need a little help along the way. Showing products in the right light can be half the battle during the early days of a product's life cycle, and that's where a good photographer comes in. Apple has one of those, and he’s great, and has been interviewed in detail. Check out the video right after the jump.

Apple Wants To See Android Source Code Records In Samsung Legal Case

Ben Reid·May 9, 2013
After a bit of a rollercoaster ride last year with the constant developments in the Apple vs. Samsung cases, the fire looks to be reigniting just in time for the summer. Although the two tech titans are at loggerheads in several different cases being fought across the world, the main battle is being contested near Apple's home turf in San Jose, California, and in accusing Google of improperly withholding potentially incriminating information, the Cupertino-based company has requested that Judge Paul S. Grewal forces the Big G to hand over source code information pertaining its flagship mobile OS.

Sharp To Begin Production Of iPhone 5S Displays In June [Report]

Paul Morris·May 8, 2013
While it's pretty much a given that Apple will make some kind of announcement this year about the next-generation iPhone, it's still unknown exactly when that media conference will happen. There's strong speculation suggesting that the upcoming WWDC 2013 in San Francisco will be used once again as a software platform, effectively allowing Apple to introduce iOS 7. It seems unlikely that the Cupertino company will revert back to a June launch date for any new iPhone hardware, especially with the latest industry speculation suggesting that Sharp is set to ramp up their LCD panel production line to fulfill the required quota of iPhone 5S displays, beginning next month.

Lumia 928 Vs. iPhone 5 Vs. Galaxy S3 – Official Nokia Camera Test [VIDEO]

Ben Reid·May 8, 2013
Nokia has sought to address the shortcomings and limitations of the Windows Phone platform by packing immensely good cameras into its high-end devices, and the fact that the Lumia 920's snapper is still widely considered the best in the business is a testament to that fact. Nokia's so-called 'PureView' technology with OIS is back for another round in the upcoming Lumia 928 handset, which looks a modest refresh on the current flagship, and to show you just how good the 928's shooter is, Nokia has put together a little comparison video pitting the camera against that of the Samsung Galaxy S III and Apple's iPhone 5 in low lighting conditions.
