As we've already mentioned, Apple has today seeded its first Apple Watch Software Development Kit to developers. Called WatchKit, the tools included will allow developers of iOS apps to incorporate the watch as they see fit, so long as they stick within the hardware limitations on offer as well as the limitations that Apple will no doubt apply via its App Store review process.
We still don’t know exactly when the Apple Watch will be available to buy, but today developers got their first look at the tools that they will use when creating apps for the wearable. Released via the same Apple Developer Center as iOS and Mac SDKs, the new WatchKit is available to all iOS developers as part of their existing developer subscription.
The threat posed by the WireLurker malware that has been infecting Macs and iOS devices has only recently come to light, but following a tip-off from local security company Qihoo 360 Technology, Chinese authorities arrested three individuals that it suspects are behind the malware. WireLurker infected thousands of mobile devices in the country after users unwittingly installed it via a third-party app store.

Thanksgiving is almost here, but while many will be indulging in copious amounts of food and drinks next week, tech fans will be looking to score some deals on what is known as Black Friday. Sure, it's not just retailers of consumer electronics that come through with some delicious offers, but with the follow-up of Cyber Monday, next week is sure to bring massive savings on everything from iPhone apps to PlayStations. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is an exceptional hybrid PC with very powerful specs - something that can be easily compared to some of the latest ultrabooks out these days, and the Xbox maker badly wants to make this clear to everyone out there. In its latest bid, Microsoft has compared its potent spec’d device to Apple's MacBook Air, but with a Christmas theme this time around as the holiday shopping season inches near.
With the release of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, all those concept designs that fueled the excitement ensued by the anticipation of a new device pretty much right after the iPhone 5 and 5s were released, have somehow been over ambitious - well at least by Apple's standards. Martin Hajek, the guy who earlier released rendered images of what the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 may look like following the iPhone 6 design language before the two were launched, has just released his rendition of the next awaited handset from Cupertino, the iPhone 7.
Black Friday is almost upon us, and consumers will be climbing over each other to get their hands on some of the best deals in town. Famous retailers - Staples and RadioShack have had a bit of a slip up, and according to leaked flyers, their deals for the big day have been revealed a tad bit early.
We're actually pretty keen on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus design, but we know that there are plenty of people out there that disagree, and somewhat strongly. Those antenna lines aren't for everyone, and we can certainly understand why. Given some of the oddities that competitors have come out with in the past though, we're willing to give Apple a small, begrudging pass in that regard.
