Android port for iPhone 3G is now finally available for download. You can do pretty much everything that you would expect a normal Android phone to do but it is still not recommended for day-to-day regular use. Google today has unveiled the much awaited Android 2.2 OS at the I/O 2010 conference held in San Francisco. HTC EVO 4G will be available on Sprint’s 4G network starting 4th of June, for $199 (after all the discounts) on a new contract. To enjoy WiMAX on this device, you will be paying $10 extra a month for the “Premium Data add-on” on top your chosen plan. Moreover, the 8-device hotspot feature will cost $29.99 extra every month. Since the device has a front cam for video conferencing, you’ll be able to do video chats over both 3G and 4G speeds using Qik app.
A video has popped up which shows Nexus One running the upcoming Android 2.2 Froyo update. It is difficult to say whether or not this is really the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update running on the Nexus One, but one thing which we are sure of is that it look different, as also apparent from the screenshot below.
