Retail Packaging Of Apple Watch And Bands Leaked [Photos]

Uzair Ghani·April 8, 2015
Apple has already revealed pretty much everything that we wanted to know about the Apple Watch - different models, pricing structure, etc. - at its Spring Forward event a while back. One thing that has always been elusive however, is the official packaging in which the Cupertino’s new wearable would ship in. If this new leak is anything to go by, then the Apple Watch box is not so elusive anymore.

iPad mini 4 Rear Casing Leaks, Reveals iPad Air 2 Like Design [Video]

Ben Reid·April 8, 2015
Apple tends to be pretty good at tweaking its products year-on-year in order to maintain consumer interest, but it certainly bucked the trend with the iPad mini 3. One of the biggest disappointments on record from the Cupertino company, it added Touch ID, a gold color option and not a lot else, yet Apple still felt that it warranted a major price bump. It has been rumored that the Mac maker is hastily preparing an upgrade, which may also include some design alterations, and a new leak of the purported rear shell sheds some light on this.

Set to launch this coming Friday, April 10th, the new 12-inch Retina MacBook was announced during the recent Spring Forward event at which Apple also released more details about the Apple Watch. Having been rumored as a potential new MacBook Air model, the notebook was instead given the MacBook moniker. The rumors of it having just one port were correct, however.

The Days Of Waiting In Line For New Product Launches At Apple Stores Are Over

Ben Reid·April 7, 2015
The Apple Watch try-on sessions will commence from this Friday, with the retail date arriving on April 24th, in just over two weeks' time, and although it's rather early to be casting aspersions, many are suggesting that this product could reach iPhone levels of popularity. Naturally, one might expect queues to form outside Apple Retail Stores in the days and hours leading up to the official launch later this month, but as per a new memo sent out by Apple SVP Angela Ahrendts, those days are long gone.

Like Apple Watch, Initial Reactions To 2007 iPhone Weren’t Great Either

Ben Reid·April 7, 2015
The Apple Watch is scheduled to go for pre-order later this week, with release slated a fortnight later on April 24th. The way Apple has gone about advertising and preparing for the device's roll out - with a two-week try-on period running at retail stores throughout the pre-order phase - it's clear that the company believes this product could be as big if not bigger than the iPhone was in 2007, and while some commentators have echoed these sentiments, there's plenty of contrasting skepticism. An interesting archive takes us back to the period of the iPhone's launch, and throws up some intriguing, oft hilarious initial reaction to the smartphone that changed everything.

Apple TV 4 Reportedly Won’t Have 4K Video Support

Oliver Haslam·April 6, 2015
Hot on the heals of the recent price reduction, which saw the current Apple TV reduced to just $69, rumors have begun to ciruclate that one product lineup could be about to get a second, higher-end device. Apple is said to be in talks to launch a subscription TV offering alongside iTunes, with the new Apple TV said to be part of those pans.
