At the moment, all we know is that Android 2.2 Froyo will do Flash and HTML5 hassle free, and will be about 450% faster than Android 2.1. But now according to TechCrunch’s sources, Android 2.2 will also bring support for USB Tethering, and the ability to create your own personal Wi-Fi hotspot for sharing the internet on the go! The first one is something which Apple and AT&T are still struggling to cope up with in US for the iPhone users, while the later one cant be done, until and unless you are using a jailbroken iPhone.

The first American 4G phone, the HTC EVO 4G will hit the shelves on 4th of June for US $199 on a two year contract with Sprint. Since both the HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4G shares almost same specs (hardware wise), the comparison between the two is evitable. One runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 (HTC HD2) while the other runs on Android 2.1 with HTC Sense (EVO 4G).

Finally, Quake III (aka Quake 3) has been successfully ported to the Google Nexus One! The game runs smoothly with a high frame rate, thanks to Nexus One’s powerful hardware. The great thing about it is that you can give it a go on almost any Android phone as long as it has Android 1.6 or higher. Android 1.5 and below is a no go for now.

We were really willing to see the HP Slate PC in action but sadly HP pulled the plug on it, stating that Intel’s hardware is power hungry and Microsoft’s Windows 7 is not a good Tablet PC operating system.
