Now that the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max are available there are people wondering what accessories they should be picking up.

If you were previously a fan of the Smart Battery Case, we have good news. It looks like there will be one for the new iPhones, too. The new iPhone Smart Battery Cases have been outed by 9to5Mac who have been able to find references to new cases in the current beta of iOS 13.1.

The model codes are A2180, A2183 and A2184 which presumably relate to cases for the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max respectively.

The folks at 9to5Mac have form for finding things like this in iOS releases. Last year, references to new Smart Battery Cases were found in watchOS, with the cases themselves arriving just a few weeks later. If a similar pattern is followed this time around we can expect the cases to be announced in a few weeks. It’s possible they will simply appear in the Apple Store, although a press release is also likely.

The Smart Battery Cases have been popular among those people who find that a standard iPhone battery simply cannot get them through a single day of usage.

However, all of the new iPhones this year offer increased battery life over older versions. In fact, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max offer 4 hours and 5 hours of additional battery respectively. The use of a Smart Battery Case might not be needed, but every little certainly helps with regards to battery life.
