Apple Support App For iPhone And iPad Updated To Now List All Paired AirPods

The Apple Support app has received a new update today, bringing the app to version number 4.3. As part of this update users of AirPods will now see them listed as an owned device, something that inexplicably didn’t happen before this update.

Previously, anyone who needed help with an AirPods issue had to go into the options via a generic AirPods section.

Now, AirPods, AirPods Pro, and AirPods Max all appear as distinct options depending on which headphones you have paired with your device.

This latest update also includes the infamous performance improvements and bug fixes, although the biggest change is the addition of specific AirPods support.

Apple has been giving AirPods some love of late. Not only air AirPods Pro and AirPods Max great with the newly released Spatial Audio support in Apple Music, but AirPods Pro now also have a beta program to call their own.

The upcoming iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey updates will add new Spatial Audio features to FaceTime and more, too.

Apple is widely expected to announce newly revised AirPods as soon as next month, although it isn’t yet clear whether they will get stage time alongside the upcoming iPhone 13 lineup.
