Apple AirPods 3 Reportedly Ready To Ship With Announcement Expected At March 23 Event

Apple’s heavily rumored AirPods refresh is set to happen sooner rather than later, with proven leaker, Kang, claiming that the third-generation AirPods are “ready to ship.”

As a result of their arrival, Apple will reportedly discontinue the second-generation AirPods, too.

Rumors relating to new AirPods have been prevalent for months now and Apple is thought to be set to announce them as soon as this month. A March 23 event has been rumored of late and it’s possible we’ll see an announcement there.

According to Kang, and well, Google Translate:

Everyone is ready to ship the new AirPods shells. Just wait for the real machine to test it. No one knows until the official announcement.

Kang also believes that while the 11-inch iPad Pro has been more popular compared to the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, it is likely to be different this time around. There is a chance that the larger device could potentially have a feature that is exclusive to it. Now that could be the camera, or a new mini-LED screen, which the 11-inch model may miss out on.

If Apple is indeed going to announce a new event for March 23 we would expect to get official word soon. The event will be an online show of course, but Apple will still give us a week or so heads-up.
