AirPods Pro 2 And iPhone SE 3 Will Reportedly Launch This April

A new report claims that Apple will launch a newly revised pair of AirPods Pro alongside a refreshed iPhone SE in April 2021. Reported by Macotakara, Apple’s new released have supposedly been outed by sources within the Chinese supply chain.

If the Macotakara report is correct, Apple will launch new AirPods Pro with a slightly different charging case. While it will remain the same thickness, the other dimensions will change to accommodate the new earbuds.

Chinese suppliers have told us that the AirPods Pro (2nd generation), which will be released in April 2021 at the same time as the iPhone SE (3rd generation), will have a new design for the charging case, which will remain 21mm thick, but will be 46mm high and 54mm wide, sources said.

For comparisons sake, the current AirPods Pro charging case stands at a height of 45.2mm and a width of 60.6mm.

Little is mentioned about the new iPhone SE, but the fact there is no suggestion of a larger screen might put paid to rumors of an impending iPhone SE Plus launch of some sort. Instead, it’s more likely the new iPhone SE will retain the same 4.7-inch display that we’re more accustomed to.

If Macotakara’s report is correct Apple looks set to have a busy couple of months, with other products said to be launching in March.
