Apple has finally given the world what it’s been waiting for — or at least, what owners of Apple TVs have been waiting for. The tvOS 15 update is now available for you to download onto your box, ready for all the new hotness.
As tends to be the case with tvOS updates, this one has been overshadowed by iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and watchOS 8 somewhat.
It isn’t full of changes and features, either. New downloaders can look forward to Smart AirPods routing as well as support for Spatial Audio, but there really isn’t a whole lot beyond that. The usual array of fixes and bug fixes are present and correct, of course.

You’ll need a compatible Apple TV to be able to install tvOS 15, but that shouldn’t be a problem — it supports all of Apple’s most recent Apple TV boxes.
All you need to do now is get the update installed so you can get back to watching all of that great Apple TV+ content!
