Tesla Releases New Charger Faceplates To Match Your Car’s Color Scheme

Have a Tesla charger at your home but always wished that the color better matched your car or anything else for that matter?

Now it can, with Tesla announcing new faceplates for its Wall Connectors.

Until now the Wall Connectors were only available in silver and black, but this new move means that buyers can now add a different color to their setup — and existing Wall Connector charger owners can now also retrofit a new color, too.

Perfectly pair your Wall Connector to the paint color of your Tesla vehicle with Wall Connector Color Matched Faceplate. Made from the same durable tempered glass as the original design, these faceplates offer a stylish alternative to your Tesla charging setup and easy installation. Available in Midnight Silver Metallic, Deep Blue Metallic, Red Multi-Coat and Solid Black.

The new Wall Connector faceplates are available for order now with a charge of $1000. It isn’t cheap for something that does nothing other than change the color of a charger, but it’s still an option if the color of your charger matters to you. It’s worth noting that Tesla says these faceplates will only match the latest Gen 3 Wall Connectors, however.

Need to grab a charger as well? Tesla also recently increased the price of its Wall Connector from $500 to $550.
