Taimur Asad·May 22, 2010
Great news for Nexus One owners! It looks like Google has started rolling out Android 2.2 (aka Froyo) for their very own Google Phone, which is more widely known as the Nexus One. The update is available now via OTA (Over-the-Air) download and will take some time before the roll out completes. Keep checking the notification tray for a “System Alert” for Android 2.2 which could be here for you any minute.

HTC EVO 4G vs HTC HD2 vs Nexus One [Video]

Uzair Ghani·May 14, 2010
The first American 4G phone, the HTC EVO 4G will hit the shelves on 4th of June for US $199 on a two year contract with Sprint. Since both the HTC HD2 and HTC EVO 4G shares almost same specs (hardware wise), the comparison between the two is evitable. One runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 (HTC HD2) while the other runs on Android 2.1 with HTC Sense (EVO 4G).

A video has popped up which shows Nexus One running the upcoming Android 2.2 Froyo update. It is difficult to say whether or not this is really the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update running on the Nexus One, but one thing which we are sure of is that it look different, as also apparent from the screenshot below. Video after the break.

Skyfire 2.0 for Android Does Flash Video in Web Browser!

Uzair Ghani·April 29, 2010
The popular Windows Mobile and Symbian browser which can pull Flash and Silverlight (soon on Android) content on cell phones has finally arrived on Android platform. Skyfire, which has been around for quite some time now has proved itself to be a potential browser for Nokia and Windows phones. It is probably the only browser which can pull off Flash video without any hassle. YouTube or Facebook videos, you name it, Skyfire will pull it off.

Android 2.2 Froyo Update for Nexus One is On the Horizon

Uzair Ghani·April 22, 2010
Great news for Android users! If you have been waiting for an update to Android 2.1, well your prayers have been half-answered. There’s now a huge possibility that a major OTA update is coming soon. Rumor has it that the Google branded Nexus One is going to be the first handset to get the update. But for other Android phones, 2.2 update may still be far off considering the fact that many are still stuck on version 1.6, let alone 2.x.

HTC EVO 4G is an Android Powered Gladiator

Uzair Ghani·March 24, 2010
Sprint’s newly accounted HTC EVO 4G is no doubt a phone which packs a punch inside out. It is partially a HTC HD2, running Android 2.1 on top of it. That is something to brag about! Take a look at this hands-on review of this superb device.
