This iOS App Gives Answers To Your Handwritten Math Problems

Ben Reid·January 30, 2013
The vast majority of us have, often begrudgingly, learned to deal with the touch-based keyboard, but with commodities such as the stylus very much alive and kicking thanks to the S Pen and others, there's still plenty of hope left yet for those of us less inclined to change. While Samsung markets its S Pen as a tool for the creative, it also lauds its note-taking abilities, no less with the oversized 'phablet' known as the Galaxy Note. Its extensive fan base shows that there certainly is a market for making digital annotations, and as such, one iOS developer has come through with a different approach, offering an app which solves calculations you've written with your hand.

Top Tweaks For iPhone And iPad That Don’t Require A Jailbreak

Paul Morris·January 30, 2013
Modifying, enhancing and tweaking Apple's iOS devices has become more than just a hobby for a lot of people over the last few years. Members of the community surrounding the liberation of iOS devices live and breathe the jailbreak scene, and when we go through a period of not having an up-to-date untethered solution, it genuinely hurts.

128GB iPad 4 With Retina Display Officially Announced, Here Are The Details

Ben Reid·January 29, 2013
Apple has, by means of a press release, announced that its fourth-gen iPad will now offer up to 128GB of internal storage - double the previous maximum configuration of 64GB. Apple has sold in excess of 120 million iPads to date, and with Phil Schiller noting of the consumer's preference to "work, learn and play on their iPads rather than their old PCs,” it would certainly make sense for the fruit company to offer the kind of capacity reflecting the change in habits.

Facebook App For iOS Updated With Voice Messages, In-App Video Recording & Improved Nearby Tab Features

Aatif·January 29, 2013
Facebook is the world’s largest social network for a reason. When the social network was first made public years back, no one could’ve predicted that it will leave the likes of MySpace, Orkut and Hi5 biting the dust, but the social giant did so. This did not happen overnight, either; steady updates and continuous improvements of the feature set took credit for the the website’s success. Whether Facebook sells users’ data or if it’s privacy policies are lax (to say the least), it’s no hidden fact that Facebook is the top choice for everyone out there for keeping in touch with friends, sharing the ups and downs of their life and almost every other aspect of daily routines.

Goncalo Ribeiro·January 29, 2013
For the last few months, Apple has been intensively testing iOS 6.1, the next minor update for iOS 6. Up until now, only developers willing to spend $99 per year on an Apple developer subscription had access to beta copies of this release, but now that the final version is upon us, everyone can take advantage of it. Here is how to download it right now.

Apple Reportedly Working On Larger Capacity 128GB iPad 4

Paul Morris·January 28, 2013
Another day and yet another iOS device related report, this time focused on speculation surrounding Apple's intention to introduce another iPad model to their existing product line. There's been plenty of discussion over the last few weeks about when Apple will refresh their existing iPad models, that discussion is still ongoing, but in the meantime it appears that the Cupertino based company is planning on introducing a single new iPad model to the existing device range.

Download iOS 6.1 Beta 5 For iPhone And iPad [Devs Only]

Ben Reid·January 27, 2013
Before a new version of iOS is released by Apple to the public, it goes through several betas, in which developers get the chance to download, assess, and note of any significant bugs or issues. This system attempts to ensure the end-user release is as smooth as possible, and while many of you will have been using iOS 6.x, work has been going on behind the scenes to prepare iOS 6.1. Today, a new Beta 5 build is now ready for download for developers only.

iOS 6 Jailbreak For iPhone 5 And iPad Mini By Team Evad3rs Will Likely Be Released After iOS 6.1

Paul Morris·January 25, 2013
There's been a lot of talk over the last few months about the future of jailbreaking and whether or not we will continue to see jailbreaks actively worked on by the dev-teams as Apple make internal security changes to iOS. There's no denying that the mood within the jailbreak community has been extremely sombre of late as users live without that elusive device liberation on iOS 6 and newer devices, but it looks like things are about to take a turn for the positive.

Angry Birds Rio For iPhone And iPad Becomes Free App Of The Week, Get Downloading!

Aatif·January 18, 2013
Games are a strange genre. They’re insanely popular (just take a look at the best-selling or most popular titles across any App Store), and their dynamics are far from predictable. Sometimes, mindless, meaningless and dead simple titles would become overnight success stories, while other much well-developed and thought of titles would remain trailing in the abyss of non-recognition. Then, there are those cases too, where persistence and perseverance pays off. Rovio Entertainment’s Angry Birds lineup is one story that adheres to the latter category – a company on the brink of closure comes up with a title after countless attempts that becomes an insane hit with the masses, doing for Rovio what few titles have been ever able to achieve for their developers.

Paul Morris·January 18, 2013
If iOS is your mobile gaming platform of choice and you have a spare $3.99 to spend on the App Store, then the latest release from Square Enix is the role-playing-game that you have been waiting for. The development house have seen their name attached to some seriously impressive gaming titles recently, and the latest is certainly no exception, with iOS gamers now able to get their hands on the glorious Final Fantasy All The Bravest title right now.
